In April a White-tailed eagle was found dead in Raftsundet. No it has landed and found its final destination at Lofoten Nature.
The eagle was almost in full adult plumage - probably a five or six year old bird. Likely, it has challenged a breeding bird over its territory, and lost the battle with a deadly outcome.
